Scholarships and golden visa status will be awarded for outstanding academic achievements.
The launching of a new reward system to recognise the top-performing high school students in Dubai has been announced by His Royal Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, the Crown Prince of Dubai.
The programme will be available to locals, foreign nationals, and residents who are studying in public or private schools in Dubai.
The initial batch of students who compete with the best will be rewarded in September.
Through their academic achievement, expatriate students can get golden visa status for themselves and their families.Additionally, the highest scorers have a chance of winning cash awards, complete or partial scholarships, or reduced tuition for third-level education in Dubai.
Financial prizes will be given to the 50 high school students who scored the highest.
Top performers for universities in the UAE and abroad, Emirati students will be given scholarships and academic scholarships. There will be an opportunity to receive scholarships at international universities based in Dubai for the expatriate academic achievers.
The eligibility criteria to get awarded in this new system is for the pals who are studying at the schools that follow the Dubai Ministry of Education, American British and International Baccalaureate curricula.
Last year in July, According to the UAE government announcement , high school students who get a final test score of 95% or higher will be granted a 10-year golden visa for themselves and their family members.
A day before the results were made official, on Tuesday, Sheikh Mohammed personally called the top performers in the UAE to inform them of their results.
